This page explains which cookies and similar techniques (such as local storage) this app uses, why, and how you can manage them. For the wider picture, see our privacy statement.
Under Dutch law (Telecommunicatiewet) and the GDPR (AVG), we may place functional storage without asking, but we ask your consent before placing analytics cookies. You can refuse, and refusing is just as easy as accepting — the app keeps working either way. We use no advertising or tracking cookies. We only store a small consent cookie once you make a choice, and analytics cookies only if you accept.
The app mostly works with data stored on your own device. The only cookie we set ourselves is a small consent cookie that remembers your analytics choice.
These are placed only after you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner (or turn analytics on under Settings → Privacy). They help us understand, in an aggregated and pseudonymous way, how the app is used, including your approximate location (country, region or city, derived from your IP address — not precise location) and basic device and browser details. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses, and we have switched off Google Signals and advertising personalisation.
See Google’s privacy policy. Some data may be processed outside the European Economic Area under recognised safeguards (EU–US Data Privacy Framework, Standard Contractual Clauses).
Checking your current choice…
We do not use any advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
To work offline, the app uses a service worker and the browser’s Cache Storage to keep a copy of the app and festival data on your device. This is functional and contains no personal data.
